Introduction to Digital Photography

Learn the basics of still photography using a digital camera. Photography fundamentals such as white balance, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, focal length and lenses will be covered. Several short in-class exercises will help you learn these fundamentals and get more out of your camera. There will also be an overview of the camera market and the strengths of different camera types. No prior photography experience required. Digital SLRs, mirrorless cameras or point-and-shoot cameras with manual capability recommended. Please bring your camera and manual to class.

There will be a 30 minute break for lunch. Lunch is not provided.
